What happens if you go over? Tilly keeps answering. Calls past your monthly allowance are charged at your plan's extra-call rate, and your count resets each month. Every 5 AI text replies count as 1 call. Every call counts as one, however long it is. Extra calls are charged to your card as they happen, not saved up for your next bill. As a safety limit, Tilly pauses after 300 extra calls in a month and texts you. The free trial covers up to 25 calls; after that, callers are asked to send a text instead.

Will my customers mind talking to an AI?

Most callers just want their job sorted. Tilly answers in under 2 seconds, sounds natural, and says up front that she's an AI assistant, so nobody feels tricked. A quick, friendly answer that books the job beats a voicemail every time.

Anyone who'd rather speak to you can ask, and Tilly takes their details so you can call them back. You get a text the moment the call ends.

What if Tilly gets a booking wrong?

Every call is recorded, transcribed and summarised in your dashboard, and you get the details straight away, so anything odd is easy to spot and fix. Tilly only offers times that are free in your calendar and reads the details back to the caller before she books.

New accounts start in "Take a message" mode: Tilly takes the details and you confirm the job yourself. Switch on booking once you're happy with how she handles your calls.

How do I divert only my missed calls?

On your mobile, dial these codes with your Ringroo number in the middle, then press call. They work on Telstra, Optus and Vodafone.

  • **61*your Ringroo number# for calls you don't answer
  • **67*your Ringroo number# for when you're on another call
  • **62*your Ringroo number# for when your phone is off or out of range
  • ##002# turns every diversion off again

For example, if your Ringroo number is 0412 345 678, dial **61*0412345678#. Your Ringroo dashboard shows the exact codes for your number.

Do diverted calls cost me anything?

Usually not. Most Australian mobile and business plans include call diversion at no extra cost, but some charge a diverted call like a normal call to your Ringroo number. If you're not sure, check with your carrier. On Ringroo's side, a diverted call counts as one call in your plan, like any other.

Do I keep my number?

Yes. Customers keep calling the number they already have, and you answer it like you always do. Only the calls you can't get to are diverted to your Ringroo number. There's no porting and no new SIM, and you can switch it off any time with ##002#.

What happens after the 14 days?

Before your trial ends you get a report showing the calls Tilly caught for you and what that work is worth. To keep going, pick a plan from $19.95 a month.

There's no credit card for the trial and nothing to cancel. If you don't pick a plan, Tilly stops answering, so dial ##002# to send missed calls back to your voicemail.
