No. You keep your existing number, keep advertising it, and customers keep calling it. Ringroo gives you a separate number, and you divert the calls you can't answer to it (when you're busy, don't pick up, or are out of range). There's no porting and no new SIM, and you can switch diversion on or off any time from your phone.

Every free trial gets a mobile number (starting 04), so you see the texts working from day one: a summary texted to you after every call, booking confirmations to callers, and customers booking by text.

Growth and Pro keep that mobile number with all of that switched on.

Choose Starter and you keep your trial's 04 number, for calls only. Texting switches off and call summaries come by email. If your trial number was released after a lapsed trial, Starter gets a new local number (02, 03, 07 or 08) instead. Upgrade to Growth or Pro any time and texting switches back on.
